TW&A coordinated the 17 prime contractors for the project and provided an on-site superintendent. In addition, TW&A acted as owner’s rep for the four major tenant fit ups concurrently. The project was completed on schedule and under budget.

TW&A facilitated comprehensive project coordination meetings in order to develop team oriented project environment. This unique and appealing hardscape design maximizes the use of outdoor space through the addition of a seat wall, raised tree beds, patio area with benches while showcasing an existing art sculpture.

This project was time sensitive due the coordinated revitalization of the Lower State Street hardscape including new sidewalks, granite curbs, decorative light poles and asphalt roadway.
TW&A’s scope included advising on project design and development, contract negotiations and project oversight while coordinating construction logistics and activities. TW&A also provided an interface between the contractor and the City of Schenectady, as well as property and business owners. Scope included project development advisement, design and negotiations assistance, monitoring SEQRA process, project and contract oversight, establishing and monitoring construction logistics, coordination of construction activities including interface between all involved parties, development and maintenance of overall program schedule, and community interface with adjacent property owners and business. TW&A also chaired comprehensive coordination meetings, inspired team oriented communication between all involved parties, developed and maintained overall program schedule as well as established and monitored construction activities and logistics to insure safe procedure. TW&A’s original contract was renewed on three separate occasions due to our successful project delivery methods.
