TW&A, on behalf of the Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority, acted as program manager for the Mohawk Harbor project in Schenectady, NY. In this role, TW&A: (1) developed a Master Milestone Schedule for the project; (2) ran regular meetings with interested parties including the City of Schenectady, the developer and its consultants, Rivers Casino and its consultants, National Grid and other utilities; (3) produced meeting minutes detailing measurable deliverables and monitored progress against schedule, schedule impact issues and other issues important to the success of the project; (4) assisted the City of Schenectady in coordinating the schedule and logistics for installing public utilities needed for the site; and (5) oversaw the National Grid and Verizon utility coordination. TW&A also assisted in the coordination of outside projects to ensure that such projects would not affect the Master Schedule of Mohawk Harbor, including the Nott Street/Erie Boulevard Roundabout, Renovation of Erie Boulevard and the Nott Street Bridge removal and replacement.

TW&A acted as Program Manager assisting and advising Metroplex, as well as the City of Schenectady for the successful implementation of the “Pizza Block” Phase 2 downtown redevelopment plan. This mixed-use redevelopment area included: demolition of 4 buildings to allow space for Clinton mixed-use facility (3 buildings) and Bomber’s Burrito. Scope included project development advisement, design and negotiations assistance, monitoring SEQRA process, project and contract oversight, establishing and monitoring construction logistics, coordination of construction activities including interface between all involved parties, developing and maintaining overall program schedule, and community interface with adjacent property owners and businesses. Also, chaired comprehensive coordination meetings, inspired team-oriented communication between all involved parties, developed and maintained overall program schedule as well as established and monitored construction activities and logistics to insure safe procedures. TW&A’s original contract was renewed for this work.
